Privacy Policy

Overview

NoRegret is designed to analyze photos and videos on the device without uploading the media or requiring a customer account.

This policy applies to the NoRegret mobile application and its related support services.

Sources and permissions

Most information is provided directly by you or created as you use the app. Device, diagnostic, and transaction information may come from your device, Apple, Google, or the service providers used to operate the app.

Permission-controlled information is accessed only after you grant the relevant device permission. You can revoke a permission in system settings, although the related feature may stop working.

Information we process

• Photos and videos accessed locally with the permission granted through Apple Photos.
• Local cleanup decisions, protection settings, goals, reminders, and progress history.
• Purchase transactions handled by Apple to unlock subscription or lifetime features.

How we use information

• Identify similar media and smart-cleanup categories on device.
• Recommend a best shot, estimate reclaimable storage, create chosen compressed copies, and track progress.
• Validate and restore purchases through Apple’s systems.

Sharing and service providers

• Apple provides the photo library, app distribution, purchases, notifications, widgets, and Watch connectivity.
• Photos, videos, cleanup decisions, and local progress are not sent to Gamina in the current configuration.
• No third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDK is included in the current project.

We do not sell personal information. We do not permit service providers to use information for their own unrelated purposes.

International processing

Gamina and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where applicable law requires it, we use contractual and organizational safeguards intended to protect information during those transfers.

Storage and retention

Media and cleanup state remain under the user’s control on the device. Deleted Photos items follow Apple’s Recently Deleted behavior. Store transaction records follow Apple’s retention requirements.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and rights

• Grant full or limited Photos access and change that permission in system settings.
• Review every selected item before confirming deletion.
• Reset local NoRegret data or delete the app to remove its local container.

Depending on where you live, applicable law may also give you rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability, and to complain to a data-protection authority. These rights can be subject to legal exceptions.

Children

NoRegret is not directed to children under 13.

Third-party services and links

The app may link to or interoperate with services controlled by other companies. Their privacy practices apply to information they collect independently, so review their notices and controls before using those services.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here, update the effective date, and provide additional notice when required.
